Musakhan's Biography

My name is Musakhan Sultani, and I was born in November 1980 in Jaghori district, which is a small town of Ghazni province in central Afghanistan. My basic education (from first to 10^th classes) is from Jaghori. During getting of my education, I faced lots of problems such as economical, social and political, civil wars and etc. Besides of these, I continued my education, because I was very fond of getting education and also from the childhood I was in love with music. I liked to learn and play different kinds of musical instruments and also singing. I used to sing in small functions, whish has always been appreciated by the audience and the people in our district have received my songs warmly. Therefore it was my great wish to continue this.

In 2003 I left my motherland because of war and came to Norway. For five and half years, I was living in Mo in Rana, a small city in north of Norway. My best and happiest memories of my life is touched with Mo i Rana city. One of my best memories from Rana city is my Wedding Ceremony, where all my school teachers and my friends were together and cooperated. Now my life is going on along my family in Oslo city, the capital of Norway. After I got married, I found the same musical love in my wife too, which took us to work together.

Here in Oslo, afghan people always celebrate the New Year festival (Nawroz), where for the first time we got a chance to sing together, which was much appreciated. And now we have decided to continue singing. And for this, we need the cooperation and appreciation of every individual living in different parts of the world.
